Accessibility Statement

Last updated · May 2026

01

Our Commitment

Marcos Cars is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to as wide an audience as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We treat accessibility as a design principle rather than a checkbox, and we work to keep the experience inclusive across devices, input methods and abilities.

02

Standards We Aim For

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines set out how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.

03

Measures We Take

The site is built and maintained with accessibility in mind. Specific measures include:

  • Semantic HTML structure so the page is navigable by screen readers and keyboard users.
  • Descriptive alt text on photography and meaningful labels on interactive controls.
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background, tested against WCAG AA thresholds.
  • Visible focus states on every interactive element for keyboard navigation.
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, which disables non-essential animations such as the hero atmospherics and reveal effects.
  • Responsive layout that adapts cleanly from large desktop displays down to small mobile screens, and supports browser zoom without breaking.
04

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on the site may not yet be fully accessible. Where we are aware of limitations we work to remedy them on an ongoing basis. If you encounter content that is difficult to access, please let us know so we can prioritise the fix.

05

Compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and with common assistive technologies including modern screen readers. Some visual effects (such as backdrop blur and certain blend modes) degrade gracefully on older browsers and will not affect the availability of the content beneath them.

06

Feedback

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this site, or if you have suggestions for how we could improve, please use the contact channel listed on this site. We welcome feedback and will aim to respond to reports of accessibility barriers promptly.
